Ryzen AI 9 465 and AI 7 450 Specs: Gorgon Point Details Surface in CrossMark Leak

Exciting developments have emerged for the upcoming AMD Gorgon Point series, as two more SKUs have been uncovered on a CPU benchmarking platform. These leaks not only confirm the naming conventions but also provide insights into some specifications of the new processors.

Unveiling the AMD Zen 5 Ryzen AI 400 Series

The Ryzen AI 400 lineup, also known as AMD Gorgon Point, is expected to consist of seven SKUs, representing a refreshed version of the Zen 5-based Strix Point family. While the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 was recently leaked, the spotlight now shifts to two additional SKUs identified through CrossMark benchmarks. Though not all specifications have been disclosed, the platform verifies several anticipated details about these processors.

The Ryzen AI 9 465, a successor to the Ryzen AI 9 365, retains a robust 10-core/20-thread setup, blending Zen 5 and Zen 5c cores. Meanwhile, the Ryzen AI 7 350 is part of the Krackan Point group, indicating that all Ryzen AI 400 models, from entry-level to high-end, will belong to the Gorgon Point family.

Performance and Specifications

The Ryzen AI 7 450 features an 8-core/16-thread design and a base clock of 2.0 GHz, following the pattern of Strix Point and Krackan Point SKUs, while promising higher boost clocks in future announcements. Reports suggest the Ryzen AI 9 465 is likely to maintain a 5.0 GHz boost, and the Ryzen AI 7 450 could exceed a 5.2 GHz boost clock.

Another Ryzen AI 7 400 model might share the 5.0 GHz boost similar to the Ryzen AI 7 350. With the same L2+L3 cache and Radeon 880M and Radeon 860M integrated graphics, based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture, these new chips are poised to offer exceptional performance.

As we await the official launch at the beginning of 2026, more leaks are anticipated to unveil the full lineup, including a Ryzen AI 7 400 chip, two Ryzen AI 5 400 SKUs, and a Ryzen AI 3 400 variant with configurations as low as 6-core/12-thread.
