Innovative OLED Monitors on the Horizon
Samsung plans to unveil a series of cutting-edge OLED monitors next year. These will include models featuring its own QD-OLED technology as well as a new WOLED-based monitor, which will mark a shift from its usual practice of solely manufacturing WOLED TVs. Reports suggest that Samsung will partner with LG Display to source these WOLED panels, allowing for a reduced cost compared to manufacturing the panels in-house.
Exciting Lineup for 2026
Leaks reveal Samsung’s OLED monitor lineup scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2026:
Week 1:
S27FG604SC, a 2K 500Hz QD-OLED monitor. It’s a derivative model of the G60SF series and comes with one fewer USB cable compared to the 602SC.
Week 6:
S27HG612SC, a 2K 240Hz QD-OLED model. It is a simplified upgrade of the older G61SD series, with the height-adjust/rotation stand removed.
Week 17:
S27HG802SC and S32HG802SC, both 4K 240Hz QD-OLED monitors. Compared to the older G80SD, these models add 90W USB-C power delivery and upgrade DisplayPort to 2.1.
Week 20:
S27HG702WC, Samsung’s first OLED monitor using LG’s W-OLED panel. It features 4K 165Hz WOLED and supports dual-mode FHD at 330Hz.
Samsung is expanding its OLED monitor variety to cater to a broad range of consumers, ensuring both performance and affordability.
