Upcoming World Finals: A New Challenge
The news arrives as Spacestation Gaming gears up for the Brawl Stars World Finals 2025, slated to occur in Sweden from November 28th to 30th. Although Spacestation hasn’t publicly commented on their departure, the developer, Supercell, stated that the Partner Program is designed to highlight key moments within the Brawl Stars esports scene. This approach demands a lot from participating partners, and sometimes the fit may not be ideal for everyone involved.
Perspectives from Players and Plans Ahead
Daniel “bobby” Levitt, a professional player from Spacestation’s Brawl Stars team, expressed his thoughts on the situation via social media. He praised the organization for its support during their esports journey, emphasizing how SSG is still ensuring their participation in the World Finals despite no longer being a program partner. The Brawl Stars Partner Program, launched in 2022, allows select esports teams to be featured within the game, offering them a share of revenue from player purchases. While some organizations like STMN and Luminosity Gaming have exited the program, others have joined the ranks. Currently, nine teams remain part of the initiative, including LOUD, Gen.G, and Team Heretics, among others.
