Team Heretics Elevates Tracyn to LEC Lineup

Team Heretics has taken a significant step by advancing Los Heretics top-laner Sebastian ‘Tracyn’ Wojtoń to their primary lineup for the 2026 LEC season. Tracyn’s impressive performance in the 2025 season with the academy squad, including a Superliga Winter victory and a runner-up finish at the EMEA Masters Summer, underscores his readiness for this promotion.

The Rise of Tracyn

Tracyn’s journey began in 2021 with Komil&Friends, a Polish esports organization. His breakthrough occurred a year later when he clinched the Ultraliga Super Puchar with Illuminar Gaming. Competing under Los Heretics, he featured prominently in the Spanish European Regional League (ERL), marking a consistent top-three finish in the Superliga. This success led to qualification for all three EMEA Masters events, culminating in a strong second place at the Summer edition. The top-laner’s dedication and skill have earned him a well-deserved spot on the LEC roster.

Roster Changes After Another Difficult Season

Spanish esports organization Team Heretics made its League of Legends debut in 2017, re-entering the scene in 2022. That year, Heretics acquired a slot in the prestigious LEC circuit for $36m from Misfits Gaming Group. Despite joining the LEC in 2023, the team has struggled to rise above the lower echelons. Their best performance was a fourth-place finish in the Summer 2023 split. In response to another underwhelming year, Heretics appointed Jonas ‘Hidon’ Vraa as the new Head Coach, replacing Víctor ‘Machuki’ Segura, and decided to switch Carl ‘Carlsen’ Carlsen with Tracyn as their top-laner.

The organization proudly announced, “Earned, not given. Tracyn will be promoted to the LEC team for the 2026 season.”
