Team Vitality has further cemented its position as the dominant force in Counter-Strike 2 by securing victory at the latest BLAST Rivals tournament. The French organization overcame Team Falcons from Saudi Arabia in the Grand Final, just one week after defeating the same opponent at IEM Melbourne.
This latest triumph marks Team Vitality’s fifth consecutive tournament win, following their victories at IEM Katowice, ESL Pro League Season 21, BLAST Open Rivals, and IEM Melbourne. The team has now established an impressive 25-match winning streak, which stands as the second-longest in CS2 history, trailing only behind Ninjas in Pyjamas’ legendary 60-0 run.
The victory earned Team Vitality $125,000 in prize money along with two Tokens from the Frequent Flyers Program (FFP), BLAST’s revenue share initiative that features an additional combined $2 million prize pool distributed among participating teams. With this result, Vitality now leads the FFP standings with six points, with Team Spirit following at four points.
