In the brutal world of REPO, death is inevitable for you and your squad. With countless monsters hunting you down, even the most cautious players will eventually fall. Fortunately, the game offers revival mechanics that keep everyone in the action.
The Revival Process Explained
Bringing back fallen teammates in REPO follows a straightforward but potentially challenging process. When a player dies, their robotic head detaches and falls to the ground as they transform into a Broken One. To initiate revival, team members must locate this fallen head and transport it to an Extraction Point.
The process doesn’t end there, however. The revival requires collecting sufficient Valuables to meet the Extraction Point’s specific quota. Once this requirement is fulfilled, the shutter will close temporarily and then reopen to reveal your resurrected teammate.
It’s critical to note that revived players return with only 1 HP, making them extremely vulnerable. Sharing health with newly revived teammates is highly recommended, as even minor contact with objects could prove fatal at this stage.
Tactical Revival Tip
Players revived near the level entry point should immediately head to the truck for an automatic health boost of 25 points, significantly improving their survival chances.
Consequences of Leaving Teammates Behind
During challenging later-game runs, sometimes extraction takes priority over collecting fallen teammates. When a mission goes catastrophically wrong, escaping to preserve the run often makes strategic sense, as a total team wipe ends your progress completely.
Abandoned teammates aren’t permanently lost, as they will automatically appear in the shop after the run concludes. This comes with a penalty, however – they’ll spawn with just 1 health point, requiring additional resources for healing.
Successfully returning teammates to the truck provides immediate benefits, as they’ll respawn with 25 health points, saving valuable resources that would otherwise go toward healing. However, if attempting retrieval risks ending the entire run, prioritizing personal extraction remains the wiser choice.
