Their last hope hinged on a match against Team Vitality, who were eager to make amends for their earlier loss to MOUZ. Vitality showcased a formidable defense, first dominating Train with a 13-4 win and then securing Mirage with a 13-11 finish, concluding G2’s journey at Chengdu with a 2-0 sweep.

Defiant HEROIC Bested by Team Spirit
HEROIC’s journey was marked by intense matches, beginning with a valiant effort against The MongolZ in Group A. As they sought to stay in the tournament, HEROIC faced Team Spirit, who were struggling to regain their earlier form. HEROIC took the early lead on Overpass but faced resistance on Dust II, where Spirit countered strongly, taking the map 16-13. Spirit then dominated Ancient, securing a 13-6 victory, which propelled them into the lower bracket finals against The MongolZ.
