This year’s Team Capsules, revealed on January 6th, 2026, bring an updated Classic skin with new visual effects, an animated player card, achievement tracker inspect, team spray, and a team Gun Buddy. Celebrating NRG’s triumph in the 2025 VALORANT Champions, their capsule offers exclusive Champions-themed elements.
The Importance Of VCT Team Capsules
VCT Team Capsules play a crucial role in the VALORANT esports scene. They not only allow fans to support their teams but also ensure financial sustainability, with 50% of net profits distributed among all VCT teams. The initiative resulted in an impressive $100 million shared among the teams in 2025, a substantial increase from the previous year’s figures.
Fans can grab their Team Capsule starting January 13th at 2,320 VP, while returning buyers from 2024 and 2025 enjoy a discounted rate of 1,650 VP. Newer teams in the VCT are yet to receive their capsules, but as the scene evolves, it’s only a matter of time before they join the lineup.
