Valkyrie Unveils Flux Filter to Boost AIO Cooling Performance

Innovations in cooling technology are often incremental, but a new development from Valkyrie promises significant improvements for AIO coolers. By introducing a flux filter, Valkyrie aims to extend the effective lifespan of these systems, maintaining optimal performance over time.

The Problem with AIO Cooling Systems

All-in-One (AIO) liquid coolers often suffer from performance decline a few years into their use. This issue arises as manufacturing flux residue breaks away and clogs the microfins on the CPU cold-plate. Over time, these particles accumulate, leading to reduced cooling efficiency.

A Revolutionary Solution by Valkyrie

To combat this, Valkyrie has engineered a “Flux Filter” that prevents flux residue from entering the loop and reaching the CPU’s microfins. In combination with their “low flow” radiator manufacturing process, Valkyrie reduces particle shedding, thus preserving the integrity of the cooling system. This filter is positioned at the radiator’s inlet, capturing harmful particles before they can cause damage.

Proven Results in Testing

Valkyrie’s innovative approach includes inspecting every radiator internally before assembly. Their VK N360 model has been tested rigorously, withstanding a continuous 72-hour stress test at over 90°C with minimal performance loss—only a 1°C increase in temperature. This breakthrough demonstrates how AIO coolers can maintain high performance levels for extended periods.

This advancement marks a significant milestone in cooling technology, offering hope for long-lasting performance in AIO systems.
