ZOTAC Unveils RTX 5070 Ti-Powered ZBOX MAGNUS Barebones Mini PC for $3000

The ZOTAC ZBOX Magnus has made a splash in the tech world with its compact yet powerful design. While not the tiniest mini PC available, its size is still impressive when compared to gaming consoles.

ZOTAC’s Latest Launch: ZBOX Magnus with RTX 5070 Ti

In October, ZOTAC unveiled their groundbreaking mini PC, the ZBOX Magnus, featuring a discrete GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB GPU within a sleek 2.65-liter case. This achievement was made possible by utilizing a mobile platform, allowing for a more compact build than desktop variants. However, ZOTAC didn’t stop there. They introduced the ZBOX Magnus EU27507TC, which adopts a desktop platform and packs a more powerful punch with the Core Ultra 7 265 processor and GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB graphics card. This requires a larger 8.48-liter chassis, yet remains compact enough to rival gaming consoles.

Feature-Packed and Ready for Action

Though larger than its predecessor, the new ZBOX Magnus model offers console-like dimensions and boasts enhancements in its I/O capabilities. With numerous USB Type A ports and a Thunderbolt 4 Type C port, it ensures connectivity is at your fingertips. Dual LAN ports provide 5 GbE and 1 GbE bandwidth, along with WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support, ensuring seamless online experiences. While ZOTAC has kept the internal layout under wraps, the exterior promises efficient cooling. Storage options abound with a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, a PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot, and a SATA SSD bay, alongside two DDR5 CSODIMM slots for RAM. Available as a barebones unit on JD for a significant 20,999 Yuan (approximately US$2972), it offers a substantial foundation for PC enthusiasts.

The ZOTAC ZBOX Magnus EU27507TC blends desktop power with compact design, offering a powerful RTX 5070 Ti GPU and Core Ultra 7 265 processor for an engaging and immersive experience.

Considerations for Buyers

The previously released ZOTAC MAGNUS EN275060TC, equipped with an RTX 5060 Ti and Core Ultra 7 255HX, was priced around $2,000 without RAM or storage, pointing to the high costs associated with these configurations. As component prices soar, potential buyers should anticipate additional expenses to complete this high-performance mini PC.
