Created by Perfect World, the CS Asia Championship (CAC) is an event scheduled for October. And it has a great prize pool of $1 million. This event will see 16 top teams going head-to-head for the top prize money.
Direct invitations have been given to nine teams out of the 16. Of the remaining seven, they will qualify through regional qualifiers will take place in Europe, Americas and China. The event from 14-19 October will have qualifiers to determine the additional teams participating in the event.

Perfect World’s Role in Esports
Parent Company Perfect World Has A Good Track Record Organizing Tournaments Previously, the organizing company was responsible for the first Counter-Strike Major in China that took place in late 2024 with a peak viewership of 1.3 million. In addition, in March 2024, Perfect World entered into an agreement with PGL to oversee tournaments for Dota 2 and CS2 until 2026, representing a further expansion.

Teams invited to CAC 2025 comprise globally celebrated teams that might bring their A-game and motivation to CAC.

Four teams from Europe and one team from the Americas will be added to the Championship as well as two teams from China through qualification.
Structure of the CAC 2025
The two groups of 8 each will see the 16-team competition commence. These teams will be added to a double-elim bracket system. The group winners automatically go to the semi-final stage, but second and third team go to the quarter-final. The playoffs will see a single elimination format with most rounds being best of three and the Grand Final being a best of five.
